Addressing Menstrual Health in Texas
TEXAS RECEIVED A "C" ON THE 2025 MENSTRUAL HEALTH REPORT CARD.
The Menstrual Health Report Card, conducted by Days For Girls, evaluates how states support menstrual health access, dignity, and equity through policies related to - menstrual products in schools, public building access, incarceration facilities, menstrual product taxation, ang good Samaritan hygiene donations.
Texas ranked #27 out of all 50 states.
While progress has been made, including removing the tax on menstrual products, major gaps still remain in schools, public spaces, and access policies.
Menstrual health is not a privilege. It’s a matter of dignity, health, and equity.
Let’s continue advocating for policies and programs that ensure every person has access to the products and support they need to thrive.
